• Characters You Create: Character names, avatars, descriptions, greetings, and tags. Characters you set to Public are visible to other users
• Voice Data: Audio processed in real time during voice calls with characters
• Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, content reports, or support requests you submit

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App features used, session duration, interaction patterns
• Log Data: Access times, error logs, and diagnostic data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and Maintain the App: Deliver AI character chat, voice, and image features
• Personalize Your Experience: Remember your preferences, conversation history, and personalize AI responses

How AI Uses Your Data

AI characters use your conversation history and preferences to:

• Remember important details you share (long-term memory, kept separate per character)

• Generate images and selfies when you request them

Third-Party AI Services

We use the following third-party services to power our AI features:

• AI Model Providers: Your messages are processed by third-party AI language models to generate character responses. Your conversations are not used to train these models
• Image Generation: Image requests are processed by third-party AI image models to create character photos and selfies
• Memory Storage: We use secure third-party services to store conversation memories and enable long-term personalization
• Voice Processing: Voice calls are processed in real time to enable speech-to-speech conversations

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for providing services to us.

You can sign in to Existence with your Google or Apple account, or with your email address. When you use a third-party sign-in:

• We receive only your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and identify your account
• We do not access any other data from your Google or Apple account
• You can revoke access from your Google Account Permissions or Apple ID settings at any time

• Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• We regularly review and update our security practices

• Conversation Data: Retained while your account is active to provide personalized service
• Voice Data: Voice calls are processed in real time; raw audio is not permanently stored
• Characters You Create: Retained until you delete the character or your account
• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account

You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights section).

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in these circumstances:

• Public Content: Characters you set to Public (their name, avatar, tagline, and description) are visible to other users of the App
• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in operating our App (under strict confidentiality agreements)

• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of Existence, our users, or others
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with prior notice)

The App is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a user under 18 has created an account, we will delete their account and associated data immediately.
